Mammo Mia








October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and no one knows like I do how important it is to get your yearly mammogram. In 1990, I went for my very first and a small malignant lump was found. In early 1991, I had a mastectomy followed by chemo, and last month I celebrated my 70th birthday. So, don't put it off; make your appointment today!!

I am part of EtsyProjectEmbace, TEAMEPE, a group of Etsians who give part of their profits to fight cancer. This month, we've been challenged to make treasuries alerting others to the importance of early detection. Here are some of my favorites:

  5. Wonderful post on such an important topic....and we just can't forget or think it's not going to happen to "me." I'm glad I'm not judging this challenge....there are some spectacular collections!

    My sister did not survive her 2 years of fighting breast cancer...she was very young...
