Mammo Mia

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and no one knows like I do how important it is to get your yearly mammogram. In 1990, I went for my very first and a small malignant lump was found. In early 1991, I had a mastectomy followed by chemo, and last month I celebrated my 70th birthday. So, don't put it off; make your appointment today!!

I am part of EtsyProjectEmbace, TEAMEPE, a group of Etsians who give part of their profits to fight cancer. This month, we've been challenged to make treasuries alerting others to the importance of early detection. Here are some of my favorites:

And mine:

  1. So good you are fine!!!!
AND I made an appointment today, I swear!!!!

  2. This is perfect Suz! Blogs like yours and treasuries like these make me even more proud to be a member of Team Etsy Project Embrace!!!

My sister did not survive her 2 years of fighting breast cancer...she was very young...
